Description
About the Formax FD 6204
The Formax FD 6204 Series delivers a high-performance folding and inserting system in a competitively priced package. Featuring a large LCD touchscreen and automatic job settings, the 6204 guides both veteran operators and new users toward efficient, effective paper jobs, with one-touch setup that measures and adjusts for paper length, envelope size and fold automatically.
The FD 6204 Series was offered in Basic 1 and Basic 2 models (one or two sheet feeders) and Advanced 1 and Advanced 2 models (adding an insert/BRE feeder), so you could match the machine to single- or multi-page mailings. It folds up to five sheets at a time in C, V, Z, double-parallel and no-fold formats, stores up to 15 jobs, and offers sealing and non-sealing modes with tip-to-tip envelope sealing. Double-document detection, batch and life counters, and optional OMR on the Advanced 2 round out a practical package for mid-size offices and institutions.

Still Supported by All For Mailers
Even though this model is no longer in current production, All For Mailers still stands behind it. As a veteran-owned dealer whose people have been in the mailing and print-finishing industry since 1991, we help keep your equipment running with genuine parts, supplies, and experienced service support.
This unit has been replaced by the Formax 6210 Series and 6306 Series inserters. All For Mailers still supports installed FD 6204 machines with parts and supplies, and can quote a current successor.
Protect what you have. These machines were built to last, and the mechanics will outlive the electronics every time. If you’re running one, put it on a quality surge protector, and add static protection — especially in dry winter air or on high-speed paper handling. Power spikes and static are what kill boards, and on these machines a board may not be replaceable at any price. It’s the cheapest insurance there is for equipment you can’t simply reorder.
