About the FD 6104
The Formax FD 6104 brings automated folding and inserting to offices that are done stuffing envelopes by hand. This entry-level tabletop machine processes up to 1,350 envelopes per hour using two fully-automatic sheet feeders plus an automatic insert/BRE feeder, handling documents up to 8.5 x 14 inches and both #10 and 6 x 9.5-inch envelopes.
A 5-inch full-color touchscreen with wizard-based setup walks operators through each job, and up to 15 jobs can be programmed for one-touch recall. Electromagnetic double-document detection guards against two statements landing in one envelope, an energy-saving standby mode kicks in after an hour of idle time, and an optional fold-only C-fold kit produces folded pieces without inserting.
