About the FD 38Xi
The Formax FD 38Xi is a fully automatic document folder that sets itself up: choose from 18 pre-programmed fold settings on the full-color touchscreen — or one of 36 custom folds in memory — and the fully automated fold plates position themselves. At up to 17,000 pieces per hour, the 500-sheet hopper can be folded through in as little as 2 minutes.
A dedicated multi-sheet feeder folds up to 4 stapled or unstapled sheets at once, handy for multi-page sets, and the machine handles letter and legal paper sizes. AutoStack stacker wheels and a patented telescoping conveyor system keep output organized, and an optional V-Stack36i vertical stacker holds up to 22in of folded documents when runs get long.
