About the FD 1406
The Formax AutoSeal FD 1406 is a low-volume desktop pressure sealer for one-piece pressure-sensitive mailers — checks, notices, grade reports, PIN mailers, and the like. It processes up to 73 forms per minute and handles forms up to 14 inches long, all from a compact desktop footprint that fits where a folding machine and envelopes used to.
A graphics-based color touchscreen control panel keeps setup simple, and the fold plates come pre-marked for standard folds on 11-inch and 14-inch forms while remaining adjustable for custom folds. The drop-in three-roller top-feed system loads quickly, and a six-digit resettable counter tracks each run. Like the rest of the AutoSeal line, the FD 1406 is built in the USA.
