About the Cut-True 29A
The Formax Cut-True 29A is a fully automatic, programmable guillotine cutter for shops where repeat jobs and tight tolerances rule the day. Its touchscreen control panel drives an automatically-adjusting back gauge and stores up to 100 jobs with up to 100 cuts each, holding cutting accuracy to 0.1mm. It cuts stacks up to 20 inches wide and up to 3.15 inches (80mm) high, and an included false clamp protects sensitive stock and perfect bound books — remove it and the minimum cut length drops further.
Operator protection is serious here: an infrared light beam safety curtain shuts the machine down the instant it is interrupted, joined by electronically-controlled two-hand operation, an LED cutting line, safety lock with key, blade lock, external blade depth adjustment, automatic blade return, a blade change safety tool and a wooden paper push. The hardened steel blade rides over an anti-friction table surface, with optional wide side tables for oversized work. This unit is drop shipped, with freight quoted at order time.
