About the Cut-True 28A
The Formax Cut-True 28A is an automatic electric programmable guillotine cutter with an 18.9-inch cut width and a stack height capacity of 3.15 inches. From the touchscreen control panel, operators can program up to 99 jobs with up to 30 cuts each, and the automatically-adjusting back gauge — with an electronic fine-adjustment knob — moves to each position on its own, cutting makeready time dramatically on repeat work.
Safety is handled seriously: an infrared light-beam safety curtain guards the cutting area, electronically-controlled two-hand operation keeps hands clear during each cut, and a key lock, blade lock, automatic blade return, and blade change safety tool round out the protections. A bright LED cutting line shows the cut position, the hardened steel blade holds its edge through heavy use, and the machine runs on standard 110V power. This unit is drop shipped.
