About the FD 2002IL System
The AutoSeal FD 2002IL is a complete one-stop mail solution that works in-line with MICR and non-MICR desktop laser printers. As each mail piece moves through a fully enclosed paper path, it is printed, folded and sealed — arriving on the other side ready to mail. That enclosed path makes it ideal for confidential work such as PIN notices, checks, healthcare information and school grades.
The system pairs the industry-leading FD 2002 AutoSeal with an IL alignment base that holds the printer and sealer securely and slides apart for easy access to the paper path and fold plates. It handles forms up to 8.5" W x 14" L with pre-marked settings for 11" and 14" standard forms, Z, V and C fold types, an LED control panel, double-feed fault detection and a six-digit resettable counter. It is designed to work with a range of HP/Troy, HP and Xerox Phaser laser printers (see specs for compatibility). Optional 18" conveyor, FD 2000-35IL reverse stacking conveyor and locking cabinets are available. Built in the USA.

Protect what you have. These machines were built to last, and the mechanics will outlive the electronics every time. If you’re running one, put it on a quality surge protector, and add static protection — especially in dry winter air or on high-speed paper handling. Power spikes and static are what kill boards, and on these machines a board may not be replaceable at any price. It’s the cheapest insurance there is for equipment you can’t simply reorder.
