About the FD 1500Plus
The Formax AutoSeal FD 1500Plus handles mid-volume mail runs without denting the budget. Built from heavy steel with a small footprint, it folds and seals virtually any one-piece pressure-sensitive mailer you can create. Pair it with a laser printer and pressure-seal forms and you have a secure, time-saving solution for everyday paper processing — all at an economical price.
It processes up to 5,200 forms per hour and handles forms up to 8.5" W x 14" L, with a 150-form hopper. Newly designed, clearly marked fold plates make setup simple, covering Z, C, uneven Z, uneven C, half and custom folds. A drop-in top feed system means no fanning, an integrated output conveyor keeps processed forms in sequence, LED indicators guide the operator, and a six-digit resettable counter supports audit control. A locking cabinet and 402 Series jogger are available as options. Built in the USA with proven Formax technology; UL approved.

Protect what you have. These machines were built to last, and the mechanics will outlive the electronics every time. If you’re running one, put it on a quality surge protector, and add static protection — especially in dry winter air or on high-speed paper handling. Power spikes and static are what kill boards, and on these machines a board may not be replaceable at any price. It’s the cheapest insurance there is for equipment you can’t simply reorder.
