About the FD 1402
The Formax AutoSeal FD 1402 offers an economical, user-friendly solution for processing one-piece pressure-sensitive mailers. With the ability to run forms up to 14" long at speeds of up to 73 forms per minute, it lets operators complete daily jobs with ease. Pair it with a laser printer and pressure-seal forms and you skip the envelope entirely — a secure, time-saving way to process checks, invoices, school reports, tax forms and appointment notices.
The FD 1402 handles forms up to 8.5" W x 14" L with a 160-sheet hopper. Fold plates are pre-marked for standard 11" and 14" forms and adjust easily for custom folds. A drop-in top feed system, simple control panel and six-digit resettable counter come standard in a compact, sleek desktop design. Heavy-duty steel construction gives it the dependability of a larger unit, and it ships with a 90-day factory-direct warranty that includes phone support and depot service, with optional on-site installation, training and service contracts available. Built in the USA with proven Formax technology; UL, CE and CUL approved.

Protect what you have. These machines were built to last, and the mechanics will outlive the electronics every time. If you’re running one, put it on a quality surge protector, and add static protection — especially in dry winter air or on high-speed paper handling. Power spikes and static are what kill boards, and on these machines a board may not be replaceable at any price. It’s the cheapest insurance there is for equipment you can’t simply reorder.
