About the Atlas C350
The Formax Atlas C350 does two jobs in one pass: it creases and folds at up to 6,000 sheets per hour, which makes it a natural fit for digital print shops finishing covers, brochures and heavy stocks. Its lifetime-guaranteed heavy-duty creasing matrix compresses paper fibers to eliminate cracking on toner-based prints, and the patented floating knife folding system delivers the fold immediately after the crease. The 7-inch color touchscreen calculates crease positions automatically and stores unlimited custom jobs.
Feeding and delivery are built for production. The top-loading vacuum infeed handles stacks up to 7.9 inches high, and sheets run up to 15 x 27.6 inches — 51 inches long with the optional feed table extension. The two-in-one outfeed pairs a fully automatic belt stacker for folded sheets with a catch tray that stacks sheets up to 35 inches long. An in-line rotary perforation kit is standard, a cross perforating blade kit is optional, creasing matrices swap tool-free, and the machine works fine as a stand-alone creaser or perforator. This configuration includes the pile feeder and one standard creasing kit.
