Description
About the Atlas C150
The Formax Atlas C150 is an automatic air-feed creaser/perforator built to take the cracking out of toner-based digital prints. Its heavy-duty creasing matrix compresses the paper fibers instead of scoring them, so covers and folds come out clean. Setup is genuinely automatic: enter the sheet length, paper weight and crease type on the 7-inch color touchscreen and the crease positions set themselves. At full tilt it processes up to 8,500 sheets per hour, fed by a top-loading vacuum pile infeed that handles stacks up to 7.8 inches high with optical sheet-separation sensors keeping doubles out.
Media range is generous — sheets up to 15 x 27.6 inches (51 inches long with the optional tray extension) and paper weights from 75 to 400 gsm. An in-line rotary perforation kit is included, creasing blades change tool-free, custom jobs can be saved without limit, and the height-adjustable outfeed stacker holds stacks up to 4.7 inches. Options include a second blade kit for single-pass up/down creasing, cross/partial perforation, and narrow and ultra-narrow blade kits. As configured here, the C150 ships with the pile feeder and one standard creasing kit.

Frequently Asked Questions
How fast is the Atlas C150?
Up to 8,500 sheets per hour, with automatic setup handled from the 7-inch color touchscreen.
Can it perforate as well as crease?
Yes — an in-line rotary perforation kit is included, and cross/partial perforation and additional blade kits are available as options.
How does the C150 compare to the Atlas C350?
The C150 is the faster creaser at up to 8,500 sheets per hour, but it creases and perforates only. If you need the fold in the same pass, the C350 adds a patented floating knife folding system and a belt-stacker outfeed, running at up to 6,000 sheets per hour.
What stock does it handle?
Paper weights from 75 to 400 gsm, in sheets up to 15 x 27.6 inches — or 51 inches long with the optional tray extension.
