About the AFM80ST

With an All For Mailers AFM80ST Low-Cost Postage Stamp Applier and Tabber, you can apply live postage automatically. It applies USPS postage stamps to #10 envelopes at up to 4,800 per hour — smaller mailers run even faster — and applies single paper, clear or translucent tabs on pieces up to 14″ wide, from a small postcard to a legal envelope and everything in between. Switching between stamping and sealing takes under a minute.

The integrated feeder holds up to 200 #10 envelopes, an LCD job counter tracks jobs up to 99,999 pieces, and it accepts standard tabs from 5/8″ to 1-1/2″ (refurbished units may top out at 1″). It feeds materials up to 5/32″ thick, tabs a tri-folded 8.5″ mailer at up to 12,000 pieces per hour, and attaches inline to other mailroom equipment for full automation. Options include a conveyor/stacker/dryer and drop tray. It measures 25″ W x 15.5″ D x 22″ H, weighs 40 lbs, and runs on 115 or 240 VAC.

Common Questions About Applying Live Postage

• Stamps not adhering: live stamps need clean, dry envelope stock — check that envelopes are not curled from storage and that the applicator path is free of adhesive residue.
• Double feeds: keep the feeder loaded to a consistent depth and fan the stack; a 200-envelope hopper runs best when it is not crammed to the very top.
• Tab placement drifting: re-check the tab guide after any change in material width — going from postcard to legal shifts the reference edge.
