Accufast XLR Labeler

Description
About the Accufast XLR
The Accufast XLR label applicator stands apart because it works with rolls of labels rather than the fan-folded, one-up labels other tabletop models require. Accufast built its reputation as one of the most dependable makers of tabletop mailroom equipment, and the XLR reinforces it — labels are applied face-up in plain sight of the operator, so you always see exactly what the machine is doing.
The XLR applies up to 15,000 labels per hour and runs machine-grade rolls 1" to 3" wide, up to 10" in diameter on a 3" core. It labels coated and uncoated pieces 5" to 16" wide, up to 20 lbs and up to 1/4" thick. A sliding head allows precise label positioning even while running, splicing rolls is fast so re-threading is a thing of the past, and jobs can be programmed and saved for later. An LCD status panel reports jams, full take-up spools and exact label position, units switch between metric and English, and it works with Accufast products and other tabletop conveyors, printers and dryers. It weighs 69 lbs.

Parts Support from All For Mailers
The Accufast XLR has been discontinued and is no longer supported new by the manufacturer.
Straight talk: buy a Accufast XLR for parts only. This was a tank — an excellent machine that earned its reputation, and the mechanics on a good one could keep working for decades. But the electronics are the limit: the boards are no longer available at any price. Once one fails, the machine is done, however good the rest of it is. We don’t recommend buying one to put into production.
Protect what you have. These machines were built to last, and the mechanics will outlive the electronics every time. If you’re running one, put it on a quality surge protector, and add static protection — especially in dry winter air or on high-speed paper handling. Power spikes and static are what kill boards, and on these machines a board may not be replaceable at any price. It’s the cheapest insurance there is for equipment you can’t simply reorder.
What’s actually available: aftermarket rollers and some bearings, across the Accufast line. Motors for the KT, KT2 and XL. That’s it — everything else is gone. If you’re running an Accufast today, call us at 866-430-2874 and we’ll tell you exactly what we can and can’t get for your machine.
Need a machine you can count on? the RENA T-950 — current and fully supported, all backed by our parts, service and lifetime phone support.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Accufast XLR still available new?
No — it is discontinued and no longer supported new. We can help with supplies and parts where available and suggest a current labeler.
How fast is the XLR and what labels does it run?
Up to 15,000 labels per hour, using machine-grade rolls 1" to 3" wide (up to 10" diameter on a 3" core), applied to pieces 5" to 16" wide, up to 20 lbs and 1/4" thick.
How is the XLR different from the Accufast XL?
The XLR is built around rolls of labels, while the XL feeds fan-folded one-up labels and takes roll adapters as an option. Both run up to 15,000 pieces per hour, handle pieces 5" to 16" wide up to 1/4" thick, and weigh 69 lbs. The XL also applies stamps and tabs; the XLR is a dedicated roll labeler.
