About the Accufast XL Labeler

The Accufast XL was long listed among the best tabletop labelers on the market — a productive, reliable machine that doubles as a label applicator, stamp affixer and tab applicator. Its labeling head slides side to side so a label can be placed nearly anywhere on the piece, and the head removes easily for cleaning or clearing jams. The built-in feeder takes landscape or portrait pieces, so you can switch between labeling, stamping, tabbing and general feeding.

Built of steel in the U.S.A., the XL runs quietly and reliably. It labels up to 15,000 pieces per hour, handles pieces from 5″ to 16″ wide and 20-lb thin up to 1/4″ thick (coated or uncoated), and offers a fast splicing process, a built-in waste take-up spool and counter, simple touch-pad controls, and one-touch on-the-fly adjustment. It goes inline with Accufast and other tabletop tabbers and conveyors for labeling and tabbing in one pass. Optional roll-label and stamp-roll adapters, plus a catch tray or conveyor, are available. It weighs 69 lbs, measures 20″L x 16″H x 21″W, and runs on 115 or 230 volts.

Parts Support from All For Mailers

Accufast has closed and many critical Accufast XL parts are no longer available, so we no longer recommend it.

Straight talk: buy a Accufast XL for parts only. This was a tank — an excellent machine that earned its reputation, and the mechanics on a good one could keep working for decades. But the electronics are the limit: the boards are no longer available at any price. Once one fails, the machine is done, however good the rest of it is. We don’t recommend buying one to put into production.

Protect what you have. These machines were built to last, and the mechanics will outlive the electronics every time. If you’re running one, put it on a quality surge protector, and add static protection — especially in dry winter air or on high-speed paper handling. Power spikes and static are what kill boards, and on these machines a board may not be replaceable at any price. It’s the cheapest insurance there is for equipment you can’t simply reorder.

What’s actually available: aftermarket rollers and some bearings, across the Accufast line. Motors for the KT, KT2 and XL. That’s it — everything else is gone. If you’re running an Accufast today, call us at 866-430-2874 and we’ll tell you exactly what we can and can’t get for your machine.

Need a machine you can count on? the RENA T-950 — current and fully supported, all backed by our parts, service and lifetime phone support.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Accufast XL still available new?
No — Accufast has closed and parts availability is limited, so we do not recommend it. Consider the AFM80ST for stamping or the Rena L-350 for labeling, tabbing and stamp affixing.

How fast is the Accufast XL and what can it handle?
Up to 15,000 pieces per hour on material 5" to 16" wide, from 20-lb thin to 1/4" thick, coated or uncoated.

How does the Accufast XL compare with the XLR?
The XL feeds fan-folded one-up labels and takes roll adapters as an option, and it also applies stamps and tabs. The XLR is the roll-fed sibling, built around machine-grade label rolls 1" to 3" wide. Both run up to 15,000 pieces per hour and weigh 69 lbs.

Can I still get parts and supplies?
Yes — visit SuppliesForMailers.com or call 866-430-2874.
