Description
About the Accufast P8
One of the toughest challenges in mailing is printing on irregular surfaces — mailers with thick flaps and uneven faces. The Accufast P8 Addressing System solved that with an individually adjustable eight-cartridge print bank in a desktop package. It gave you control over each print head across the full 14-inch print path, plus the strongest vacuum of any tabletop address printer on the market to keep pieces flat and registered.
The P8 could communicate with other devices on your line to build automation, including custom mail sorting, and integrated with I/O-capable feeders and inserters. Specs: accepts documents up to 3/4" thick; 4" total print area split into two 2" sections; adjustable speed up to 50 in./sec; twin-belt vacuum transport with 330 cfm flow; up to 600 x 600 dpi; maximum document 14"L x 17"W x 3/4"H; connects via Ethernet or USB; 22"L x 14"H x 20.5"W; 55 lb; 120V 5A or 230V 3A. Optional imagers offered automatic capping and wiping plus camera attachments.

Parts Support from All For Mailers
Accufast has closed and the P8 is no longer available. All For Mailers still supports installed units with parts and supplies where available. As a veteran-owned dealer, expert since 1991, we can recommend a current high-end addressing system when you’re ready to replace it.
Straight talk: buy an Accufast P8 for parts only. This was a tank — an excellent machine that earned its reputation, and the mechanics on a good one could keep working for decades. But the electronics are the limit: the boards are no longer available at any price. Once one fails, the machine is done, however good the rest of it is. We don’t recommend buying one to put into production.
Protect what you have. These machines were built to last, and the mechanics will outlive the electronics every time. If you’re running one, put it on a quality surge protector, and add static protection — especially in dry winter air or on high-speed paper handling. Power spikes and static are what kill boards, and on these machines a board may not be replaceable at any price. It’s the cheapest insurance there is for equipment you can’t simply reorder.
What’s actually available: aftermarket rollers and some bearings, across the Accufast line. Motors for the KT, KT2 and XL. That’s it — everything else is gone. If you’re running an Accufast today, call us at 866-430-2874 and we’ll tell you exactly what we can and can’t get for your machine.
Need a machine you can count on? The RENA AS-150, AS-450, AS-650 and AS-850, or the Formax AP2 (2in), AP3 (3in) and AP4 (4in in-line) — all current, all supported, all backed by our parts, service and lifetime phone support.
