Accufast KT Tabber
The Accufast KT is a single-head crash tabber and wafer sealer known for high productivity and tight, accurate tabs — but parts are scarce, so it is no longer sold.
Description
About the Accufast KT
The Accufast KT is a “crash tabber”: the open edge of the piece feeds into the machine first and contacts a tab that has dropped in front of it, pulling the tab from its backing. The piece and tab then crash into a sweep-and-roller system that folds the tab tightly into place around the mailer. It is a simple, accurate design well suited to offline tab application.
Crash tabbers like the KT bring real advantages: high productivity, because the shortest dimension feeds through and raises production rates at any given speed; simplicity, with a short paper path and no skew adjustment; and accuracy, with tabs folding tight to the edge and not drifting left to right. When All For Mailers refurbished a KT, we replaced both motors, sensors, the o-ring and the sweep, along with any worn bearings, belts, shafts, control panel or board, and most got all-new rollers, then a thorough test across a variety of tabs and materials. Some units could be upgraded at the factory to apply 1.5″ tabs.

Parts Support from All For Mailers
Due to a lack of parts, All For Mailers no longer sells the Accufast KT and we discourage buying one.
Straight talk: buy a Accufast KT for parts only. This was a tank — an excellent machine that earned its reputation, and the mechanics on a good one could keep working for decades. But the electronics are the limit: the boards are no longer available at any price. Once one fails, the machine is done, however good the rest of it is. We don’t recommend buying one to put into production.
Protect what you have. These machines were built to last, and the mechanics will outlive the electronics every time. If you’re running one, put it on a quality surge protector, and add static protection — especially in dry winter air or on high-speed paper handling. Power spikes and static are what kill boards, and on these machines a board may not be replaceable at any price. It’s the cheapest insurance there is for equipment you can’t simply reorder.
What’s actually available: aftermarket rollers and some bearings, across the Accufast line. Motors for the KT, KT2 and XL. That’s it — everything else is gone. If you’re running an Accufast today, call us at 866-430-2874 and we’ll tell you exactly what we can and can’t get for your machine.
Need a machine you can count on? RENA T-250, T-650, T-750, T-950 and the RENA XPS ProTab 4.0 — all current, all supported, all backed by our parts, service and lifetime phone support.

Also known as: this machine was also sold as the Rena T-300 and Formax FD 260 — same machine, different badge. Looking for one under a different name? Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Accufast KT still available new?
No — due to a lack of parts we no longer sell it. Consider the Rena T-250 or T-750 as current replacements.
What is a crash tabber and why is the KT accurate?
The piece feeds open-edge first into a tab that's dropped in front of it, then crashes into a sweep-and-roller system that folds the tab tight to the edge — giving high productivity and tabs that don't drift left to right.
How does the Accufast KT differ from the KT2?
The KT2 is the two-head version of the same crash-tabbing design: it carries two tab heads, seals the top and bottom of a piece in one pass and applies one or two tabs per mailpiece. The KT applies its tabs offline with a single head. Parts are scarce for both.
Can I still get parts and supplies?
Yes — visit SuppliesForMailers.com or call 866-430-2874.
