Description

About the Accufast FX

Whatever mailing pieces you’re compiling, you need to feed them quickly and reliably — and the Accufast FX Feeder lived up to its name. Repetitive jobs like feeding pieces into envelopes eat up time, and so do machines that break down or jam. The FX was a friction feeder you could set to work and then walk away from to handle more important tasks.

With the FX you could fill envelopes with brochures, self-mailers, double postcards and similar pieces at up to 20,000 pieces per hour, across multiple sizes. It handled pieces 5" to 18" wide, up to 14" long, and thicknesses from 20 lb. up to 3/8", with mail-piece extensions allowing stack heights up to 8". At just 48 lb with a 16" x 23" footprint, it packed a lot of power into a small space, with a pair of adjustable guides for skew-free feeding, multiple line-voltage options, and a high-speed FC-03 variant.

Still Supported by All For Mailers

Accufast closed before COVID and new FX units are no longer made. All For Mailers still supports installed units with parts. As a veteran-owned dealer, expert since 1991, we can recommend a current friction feeder when you’re ready to replace it.

Protect what you have. These machines were built to last, and the mechanics will outlive the electronics every time. If you’re running one, put it on a quality surge protector, and add static protection — especially in dry winter air or on high-speed paper handling. Power spikes and static are what kill boards, and on these machines a board may not be replaceable at any price. It’s the cheapest insurance there is for equipment you can’t simply reorder.
