Description
About the Accufast Freehand
The Accufast Freehand Tabber brings many of the benefits of the robust Accufast family to smaller operations in a convenient, practical size. It’s a compact, durable machine for sealing and tabbing self-mailers and folded pieces, letting an operator hand-feed each piece and apply a tab on demand — ideal for low-volume and irregular jobs where an automatic feeder isn’t needed.
Despite its compact size, the Freehand tabs up to 12,500 pieces per hour and handles pieces from 5″ to 12″ wide, coated or uncoated, thin or thick. Its simple tractor-feed system runs 1″ paper circle tabs on tractor-hole rolls and lets almost anyone tab with minimal experience. Rugged, secured and adjustable tab folds, integrated waste management and a counting mechanism round out the feature set, with an optional catch tray and conveyor to simplify operation.

Still Supported by All For Mailers
All For Mailers is a veteran-owned dealer, established in 2006 — our people have been in the mailing and print-finishing industry since 1991. Accufast is no longer making the Freehand, and we are not a current authorized Accufast dealer, so we do not offer a factory parts-and-service path for it.
If you need a current tabber, our team can point you toward alternatives such as the Rena T-250 or a refurbished Pitney Bowes W350 — just reach out and we’ll help.
Protect what you have. These machines were built to last, and the mechanics will outlive the electronics every time. If you’re running one, put it on a quality surge protector, and add static protection — especially in dry winter air or on high-speed paper handling. Power spikes and static are what kill boards, and on these machines a board may not be replaceable at any price. It’s the cheapest insurance there is for equipment you can’t simply reorder.

Also known as: this machine was also sold as the TA-40 — same machine, different badge. Looking for one under a different name? Contact us: the same unit is often available wearing another brand’s model number, and parts, supplies, and service experience carry straight over.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Accufast Freehand still available new?
No. Accufast is no longer making the Freehand Tabber, and All For Mailers is not a current authorized Accufast dealer. We can suggest current tabbing options such as the Rena T-250 or a refurbished Pitney Bowes W350 if you need a replacement.
How fast was the Accufast Freehand and what tabs did it run?
The Freehand tabbed up to 12,500 pieces per hour, handling pieces 5" to 12" wide, coated or uncoated, and ran 1" paper circle tabs on tractor-hole rolls through a simple hand-fed tractor-feed system.
How does the Freehand compare with the Accufast KT?
Both are compact Accufast tabbers, but the Freehand is hand-fed one piece at a time — built for low-volume and irregular work — while the KT is a crash tabber intended for steady offline tab application. Neither is supported new today; for a current machine we point to the Rena T-250 or a refurbished Pitney Bowes W350.
