Description
About the Accufast ET
The Accufast ET is a versatile tabbing machine (wafer sealer) that applies tabs to self-mailers, folded pieces and booklets in accordance with USPS specifications. Connect it to whatever front-end equipment you’re running, select the right tab mode, load your tabs, and it handles the rest — with an easy splicer process to attach a new strip of tabs and clear waste to keep production moving.
Tab formats — edge tabbing, top tabbing and specialty booklet tabs — are selected with a simple twist of a knob, with tabs placed automatically to meet postal requirements. For booklets, which the USPS requires be closed with at least two (sometimes three) 1.5-inch tabs, the ET creates compliant pieces reliably. It can feed tabs from a box of fan-folded tabs on the floor or from a large spool, and the optional Accufast LDM handles rolls of up to 75,000 tabs for mid-sized runs.

Still Supported by All For Mailers
All For Mailers is a veteran-owned dealer, established in 2006 — our people have been in the mailing and print-finishing industry since 1991. Accufast is no longer making the ET, and we are not a current authorized Accufast dealer, so we do not offer a factory parts-and-service path for it.
If you’re looking for a current tabber, our team can point you toward alternatives such as the Rena T-650, T-750 or T-950 — just reach out and we’ll help.
Protect what you have. These machines were built to last, and the mechanics will outlive the electronics every time. If you’re running one, put it on a quality surge protector, and add static protection — especially in dry winter air or on high-speed paper handling. Power spikes and static are what kill boards, and on these machines a board may not be replaceable at any price. It’s the cheapest insurance there is for equipment you can’t simply reorder.

Also known as: this machine was also sold as the Formax FD 280 — same machine, different badge. Looking for one under a different name? Contact us: the same unit is often available wearing another brand’s model number, and parts, supplies, and service experience carry straight over. Full family story: the T-250 family guide.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Accufast ET still available new?
No. Accufast is no longer making the ET, and All For Mailers is not a current authorized Accufast dealer. We can recommend current tabbing equipment such as the Rena T-650, T-750 or T-950 if you need a replacement.
What tab formats did the Accufast ET apply?
The ET applied edge tabs, top tabs and specialty booklet tabs, selected by a twist of a knob, and could feed tabs from fan-folded boxes or large spools — handling the 1" and 1.5" tabs used for USPS-compliant self-mailers and booklets.
What should I run instead of an Accufast ET today?
For a supported tabber our team points to the Rena T-650, T-750 or T-950. Tell us your monthly volume and piece sizes and we will match the model honestly rather than sell you more machine than you need.
Can I still get parts and supplies?
Yes — visit SuppliesForMailers.com or call 866-430-2874.
