Compare

Put two, three or four machines side by side and see the specifications in one table: speed, print area or tab size, media sizes, footprint, power, price. The table below fills as you add machines from anywhere in the catalog.

No product is added to the comparison table.

How to compare machines

  1. Open any machine in the equipment catalog and click Compare under the Add to cart button. Do the same on the next machine.
  2. Come back to this page (or use the Compare bar at the bottom of the screen). Every machine you picked is here, specs lined up in columns.
  3. Remove a machine with the X in its column, or clear the table and start over. Your picks stay on this device until you clear them.

Compare within a family for the most useful table: address printer against address printer, tabber against tabber. The columns show the same specification rows we publish on each product page, so nothing is estimated.

Not sure where to start? These families are the ones customers weigh most often:

  • Address and envelope printers — RENA AS-150 vs AS-450 vs AS-650 (print area, transport, speed), and the Quadient, Formax and Secap lines beside them.
  • Tabbers and wafer sealers — RENA T-650 vs T-750 vs T-950, and the hand-fed Staplex Tabster for small jobs.
  • Folder inserters — Formax FD 6100 through FD 6600 series, and the Quadient DS-series, by stations and pieces per hour.
  • Pressure sealers — Formax FD 1500, FD 2000 and FD 2100 series by forms per hour and feed type.
  • Stamp appliers — the AFM80ST against the Accufast and Postmatic affixers.
